Under 12 Girls
2nd Semi: Speewa 27 defeated Tigers 17. Speewa’s Arlee Bennett has averaged 19 points per game this season and she was on target in this final. The Tigers players all posted scores and tried hard in defence but were unable to stop the scoring power of the Speewa team.
1st Semi: Fireflys 21 defeated Saints 10. A super game by Elouise McCosh and Brydie Lewis helped the Fireflys team win a spot in the preliminary final. The Saints team took a long time to score their first points then it was a huge task for them to catch up to the Fireflys team. Top Scorers Elouise McCosh 10 points (Fireflys) Decoda Hornby 8 points.
Prelim Finals: Tigers 20 defeated Fireflys 9. A determined Tigers team played very good defence with Emily Edwards able to steal the ball time and time again and dribble her team back into offence. Pyper McGown (Tigers) scored 6 points and Elouise McCosh (Fireflys) tried hard all night and finished the game with 5 points.

Under 12 Boys
2nd Semi: Saints 38 defeated Untouchables 19. Zeb Pryor and Fraser Colville’s scoreboard pressure set up a comfortable win for Saints last Tuesday night to advance into the under 12 boy’s Grand Final. Better players on the night for Untouchables were Liam Drummond with 8 points and Lachie Martin with 7.
1st Semi: Speewa 28 defeated Fireflys 25. Both teams played some great basketball and worked hard in defence to stop easy baskets. Speewa’s Willhem Bennett drove well to the basket finishing off with 14 points and Jude Seymour played consistently overall scoring 10 points.
Prelim Final: Untouchables 32 defeated Speewa 29. In the dying minutes of the game the Untouchables defensive pressure saw them steal the ball and the game. The quick guards made good decisions throughout the game and Lachie Martin notched up 17 points to help his team move into the Grand Final next Tuesday. Mitchell Uhlhorn played well for the Speewa team scoring 16 points.
