Club Development Forum
The SANFL is holding a Club Development Forum on Sunday February 28 at the Glenelg Football Club. The forum is for anyone involved with Community Football League affiliated Clubs.
There are elective sessions for participants to attend and include volunteer management, fundraising, strategic planning and many more.
The day is free of charge and presents a fantastic opportunity for Club and League members.

Education Sessions
Player Payment and Footyweb education seminars have commenced. Sessions have been well attended and Clubs have received valuable information going into the season.

Office of Rec & Sport Grants Coming Soon
The Office of Recreation & Sport have two grants opening on Saturday the 13th of February, which include:
Active Club Program (Round 41):
Provides funding for active recreation and sports clubs across the following criteria:
1. Programs and equipment (up to $5,000)
2. Facility upgrade requests up to $20,000 on a $1 for $1 basis.
The Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program:
Provides funding to eligible organisations to plan, establish or improve sport and active recreation facilities that meet the needs of the community in South Australia. Organisations can apply under the each of the following categories:
1. Category 1 – facility planning
2. Category 2 – facility development (requests $1 - $200,000)
3. Category 3 – facility development (requests $200,001 - $1,000,000)

SACFL Grant Update
West End Defibrillator Subsidy Scheme
The South Australian Community Football League has joined forces with the West End Community Fund to help football clubs across the state purchase a defibrillator.
In 2016, SA football clubs will be eligible to apply for a $1000 subsidy toward the purchase of a defibrillator through the implementation of the West End Defib Subsidy Scheme. For more information please click here
Development Grant
The SACFL are pleased to announce that the Development Grant is now open. This scheme aims to increase the opportunities for people to participate in football in South Australia through three (3) specific funding categories:
Education Programs
- Participation Programs
- Event Hosting
