Antranik - Beirut Arab Champion
Antranik -Beirut created history by wining the Arab Title for the second consecutive year , Last year was in Dubai against Wehda in the final , this year came against Safaxis from Tunis the strong team in the final on the score of 73-71.
The game was a revenge for the first game of the tournament when the two teams met and the Tunisians managed to win it 68-62.
In the first quarter the Tunisians continued where they finished in the first game and led the game at the end of the quarter 21-15 .In the second quarter the 2006 champions answered back and managed to tie the game at the half 33-33 .
In the third quarter Antranik,- Beirut made a run through the great plays from Amanada Carver who finished the game with 26 points , 12 rebounds , they managed to have the lead at the end of the third 58-50.
In the fourth the Tunisians answered back strongly and managed t reduce the score and to lead the game 71-69 before 12 seconds from the end when Emma Eskidjain hit the wining three points shot and received a foul which she scored also and gave the win and the prestigious title for the second consecutive year , the game finished on the score of 73-71.
