Basketball Well Represented at the Hadlee Sports Awards
Basketball has done pretty well last year, being finalists in six categories for the 2016 Marriotts Hadlee Sports awards:
- Matt Bathurst: Official of the Year
- Bradley Garner: Sportsperson with a Disability of the Year
- Under 19 Boys: Junior Team of the Year
- Tall Ferns vs. Japan: Sports Event of the Year
- Sam Timmins: Young Sportsman of the Year
- Laken Wairau: Young Sportswoman of the Year
We wish to congratulate all of those nominated, and wish them all the best for the actual awards night on Friday 4 March
