College Players Return
This weekend's round sees the return of a number of local players participating in the US College system. Max Papendiek (Lewis Clark State College) and Sam Grantham (Carroll College) have been playing in the NAIA, and both return to the Norwood Flames, who take on Central Districts at Mars.
Ben Madgen (Augusta State) was named freshman of the year in the NCAA's Peach Belt Conference, and returns to play for the Eastern Mavericks against Woodville at Mt. Barker.
In Tara Robinson's first season with Lambuth University, she was fortunate enough to be a part of team that won the NAIA National Championship. Robinson returns to play for Forestville against South at Wayville.
Basketball SA congratulates all SA players that are balancing a life of study and basketball around the world, and we wish them well in all their future endeavours.
