Pennant Hills are calling all interested women to attend an Information Night to be held at West Pennant Hills Sports Club on Tuesday 15th December at 7.30pm.
Pennant Hills AFL Football Club has now secured a coach (Tom Abbott ) and team manager (Allen Abbott) for their inaugural Women’s AFL team.
Tom Abbott is a current player at the club, has played at the top level of Sydney AFL and most recently coached Pennant Hills Junior Club under 17 during season 2015.
Allen Abbott has been on the Penno Committee for the past 2 years and is actively involved with Penno club operations, bar manager and general good bloke to be around.
In addition, the Demons have had several interested women who are keen to be part of something special at the club, but WILL NEED MORE PLAYERS before they can confirm their nomination to play Women’s Division 2 in season 2016.
So Pennant Hills are calling all interested women to attend an Information Night to be held at West Pennant Hills Sports Club on Tuesday 15th December at 7.30pm.
This information session will cover:
-The history of Sydney AFL Womens Competition,
-Background and future plans for our club
-Meet the Coach, Team Manager and several members of the Committee
-Details of training dates
-Season competition details
-Info on registration fees
-Expectations of players at our club
As well as a host of other information to set us up for success, concluding with a Q & A opportunity.
Pennant Hills would love to have as many potential players attend, so please come along and bring as many interested friends as possible.
