Appeals may be considered appropriate should a club convince the League that there may be fresh valid evidence which was not produced at the first hearing. The club lodging an appeal must lodge a fee which may be forfeited in part, or whole depending on the outcome of the appeal. For example, it may be deemed frivolous by the tribunal.
An appeal will only be considered if the club lodging the appeal agrees that the result of the second hearing is final and binding.
Result: The tribunal upheld the original tribunal's decision and St Kilda City player Salim Hassan is suspended for 3 matches for striking - able to resume Round 6.
