Raising Money for Australian Sport - Workshop
Gippsort and The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) has been helping fundraise for sport in Australia for 30 years, raising more than $300 million in that time. The ASF is the only organisation in Australia dedicated to tax deductible fundraising for sport.
The ASF's unique Fundraising4Sport program is designed to enable non-profit organisations like your sporting club to partner with them and receive tax deductible donations from individuals and companies, to fund projects that develop your sport. Working with the ASF is easy and best of all, there are no chocolates to sell!
The ASF currently works with almost 800 organisations from all over Australia, helping them fundraise for things like purchasing new equipment, building or upgrading facilities, hosting a tournament, supporting team travel, running participation programs, and funding representative and elite program costs. The ASF will be providing:
- an overview of fundraising for sport
- tips for creating a fundraising plan
- effective and simple ways to fundraise
- examples of community fundraising campaigns
- information on fundraising for purchasing new equipment, supporting team travel, building or upgrading facilities
