The Mansfield Football Netball Club is pleased to announce the signing of Cameron Hotton as its senior coach.
We look forward to Cameron bringing the same enthusiasm to coaching as he delivered to our club as a player. He is a best and fairest winner and was a part of our break through 2004 premiership.
His CV in football and education is excellent and we look forward to him developing the team, club and the youth of our community. Cameron his wife Mel and 3 sons will be based in Mansfield.
Cameron has spent the last four and a half years with his family in Darwin. After initially relocating to the top end to take on the role as the General Manager of the Tiwi Bombers Football Club in the NTFL, he then moved to the NT Thunder Football Club midway through their NEAFL Premiership year of 2011, to fill the position of Football Operations Manager.
Following his time at AFLNT, he then spent his last two years in Darwin running the Sport & Recreation program and the AFL School of Excellence at St John's Catholic College.
As a player, Cameron's senior career was at the East Burwood Football Club in the EFL and the Mansfield Football Club in the GVFL. Cameron's coaching experience has included being an assistant coach of the Tiwi Bombers in their premiership season, and an assistant coach of the NT Thunder Under 16 team at the National Championships in 2011. Cameron, was also involved in the Tiwi Bombers Youth Girls Premiership side in 2014/15.
