EXPRESSION OF INTEREST NOW OPEN TO JOIN EDFL BOARD OF MANAGEMENT

Expressions of Interest are now open to join EDFL Board of Management for 2016.

The rules of EDFL Constitution under Election of Board Members (Section 24.8, 24.9 & 24.10) state it is compulsory that 50% of board ( there are 7 members) must stand aside each year.

At this year’s AGM meeting on 26/11/2015 three (3) board members are required to vacate their position. These board members can re-nominate but if the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies to be filled, a ballot will be held at the AGM.

In addition we also require a nomination to fill a board position made vacant due to a retiring mid-term board member.

Persons interested are to reply by email to secretary@edfl.org.au by COB on Friday 13/11/2015. This will allow for the candidate’s names to be posted on the league website at least 7 days before the AGM in accordance with Constitution clause 24.3.
