A star studded lineup has been announced as part of the Peter Jackson VFL Team of the Year for 2015.
10 of the 15 VFL clubs are represented in the side, with Williamstown leading the way with seven representatives, followed by North Ballarat with four, Werribee three and Collingwood, Sandringham and Coburg two each.
Sandringham coach Paul Hudson was given the honour of coach of the year, leading the Zebras to their first top two finish to a home and away season since 2007. They finished the year with 14 wins, just percentage behind top side Box Hill Hawks, with Sandringham jumping up the ladder from eighth position with nine wins in 2014.
Box Hill Hawks leader David Mirra was given the captaincy role for the team, selected for the fourth year in a row in the side, while fellow club captain Ben Jolley (Williamstown) made the team for the sixth consecutive year.
