COOLAROO has booked its place in the AFL Darling Downs grand final with a 14.15 (99) to 8.4 (52) win over Goondiwindi at Rockville Park on Saturday.
The Roos better adapted to the miserable conditions to win straight through to their second decider in three seasons.
Goondiwindi came out on top in a hard-fought 3.1 to 2.4 opening term, but it was all Coolaroo from there.
The Roos unleashed their attack, winning the second term 7.1 to 1.0, and the Hawks couldn't fight back.
Coolaroo's Adam Green kicked five goals while David O'Toole led the way for the Hawks with three.
Meanwhile, the Tigers have made the women's grand final in their first season after beating defending premiers Dalby 6.9 (45) to 1.1 (7).
The Tigers raced to a 19-point lead at the first change and never looked back, keeping the Swans to just one goal for the match.
Molly Cooper and Jayde Struhs booted two goals apiece for the Tigers while Danielle Wall kicked Dalby's lone major.
The Swans will face Coolaroo in this weekend's preliminary final.
Finally, Dalby snared a 12.14 (86) to 10.10 (70) upset over minor premiers South Burnett to qualify for the division two decider.
The Saints had the better of the 4.4 to 3.2 opening term, but Dalby kept chipping away to trail by seven points at halftime.
The Swans cut that to two points at the final change before they dominated the fourth quarter 2.7 to 0.1 to hand South Burnett just its second loss of the season.
South Burnett will be up against Highfields - who ended their unbeaten streak - in the last regular season game of 2015.
