The finals race continues for another week with the fairytale story of Coburg completing another chapter as the Lions roar into 10th spot on the ladder.
Away from home Coburg defeated former aligned partner Richmond to move to within a game of Casey Scorpions in eighth spot as the we count down to the Legendairy VFL Finals Series. The two clubs meet next week in Round 19.
Sandringham kept its eye on a possible top two finish and home final, overcoming a slow start to dispatch of Northern Blues, while Essendon started its final preparations with a convincing win over Frankston.
