Palm Beach SC will discover their Westfield FFA Cup 2015 Round of 16 destiny this afternoon when the next stage of the competition is drawn.
The draw will be shown LIVE on Fox Sports News (Channel 500) and streamed live at www.theffacup.com.au and www.foxsports.com.au
Sharks are the final PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland club in the draw after advancing past PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria powerhouse South Melbourne FC on penalties in the Round of 32.
Sharks will be joined by fellow Queensland club Lions FC (Trophy Superstore Premier League) in the Round of 16, as well as seven remaining Hyundai A-League clubs.
The draw will be conducted by former Socceroos Ante Milicic and Pablo Cardozo.
The Westfield FFA Cup Round of 16 draw sees each of the remaining clubs allocated a number, with the Hyundai A-League clubs placed in Pot A and the Member Federation clubs in Pot B.
The format of the draw is designed to ensure at least one team from outside the Hyundai A-League reaches the competition’s Semi-Final stage.
The Westfield FFA Cup Round of 16 will comprise two all Hyundai A-League matches, three all-Member Federation fixtures and three Member Federation v Hyundai A-League encounters.
Following the draw, specific match details regarding dates, venues, kick-off times and broadcast details will be announced by Friday 14 August 2015.
FOX SPORTS will broadcast a match on both nights of the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 16 and provide updates and crosses to the other six matches.
The non broadcast matches will also be streamed online atwww.foxsports.com.au/football/ffa-cup/ffacupondemandand Apple TV via FOX SPORTS Now.
