The Round 14 Women’s Rising Star nominee is Terri-Ann Martin from Newtown.
Terri-Ann joined the breakaways at the beginning of this season after coming along to a game with friends and getting roped into running water. She was convinced to come and play the following day despite having no prior experience and having a broken finger! Terri-Ann comes to us from a soccer background, and still continues to back up and play soccer every week as well as always being one of the first to volunteer to play a second game in the day for the breakaways when needed.
She brings to the team a great deal of energy and enthusiasm and is a valued member of the breakaways family. Her skills continue to grow every week and she will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with for many years to come.
