Euroa scored one of its most important victories of the season and in doing so took another step towards securing its first finals appearance since 2007.
Nathan Gilliland and the boys would have gone into the game with some plans to ensure it didn’t get a repeat of the terrible second half it dished up at Princess Park a month ago.
Gilliland led from the front when he kicked the first two goals of the premiership quarter to set them on their way.
They were never headed from that point to run out comfortable winners.
It doesn’t get any easier today against another very good team.
Kyabram has had a solid year to date and can boost it has been in every game it has played this year.
The Bombers will look to Nicholas Coulstock, Axel Childs, Jason Morgan, Samuel Smith, Jordan Williams and Liam Ogden to try and get them back in the winners’ circle.
Euroa knows one win could secure it a finals berth, but they won’t be thinking like that.
Its focus will be on delivering a four quarter effort against Kyabram.
The likes of Craig Bamford, Brett Zorzi, Andrew Bell, Ben Barker, Nick Snowden and John Ikupu will be pivotal to their team’s aspirations of grabbing the win.
