The Westfield FFA Cup’s official broadcast partner Fox Sports has confirmed it will live stream all non-broadcast matches from the Round of 32 onwards in 2015.

In a huge coup for PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland fans, the announcement ensures that supporters of the competition’s three qualifying clubs - Brisbane Strikers, Palm Beach SC and FNQ Heat - need not miss a minute of their side’s campaigns.

Strikers and Heat fans will particularly benefit with their matches previously not announced as feature matches for full broadcast during the Round of 32.

Strikers will face PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria club Hume City this Wednesday night in Melbourne, while Heat will also travel to the Victorian capital early next month to face Oakleigh Cannons.

Palm Beach SC were already assured full coverage of their match against South Melbourne FC this Wednesday night on Fox Sports Channel 505 to kick-off this year’s national stage of the knockout competition, however the announcement means their supporters will be guaranteed coverage of the next stage should Sharks win.

Heat coach Martin Docherty welcomed the announcement and said it offered another great opportunity for Heat players and supporters

“At the end of the day it puts all the coaches and all the players in the shop window, which is what the NPL and FFA Cup is about,’ Docherty explained.

“It’s a great opportunity to expose ourselves to everyone around the country. I think the FFA Cup is a great initiative and here’s another great thing from FFA and Fox Sports.”

“The Heat supporters love the NPL live stream from Football Queensland. So many people follow it and with the media build-up around the FFA Cup it’s an even greater opportunity to expose our product to even more people,” Docherty concluded.

Queensland two other representatives, Hyundai A-League powerhouse Brisbane Roar and Trophy Superstore Premier League side Lions FC, will also see their matches streamed live.

A total of 20 non-broadcast matches will be screened throughout the tournament, allowing Queensland football fans a glimpse of other PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues clubs from around the country as well as the Hyundai A-League's big guns.

The streams will be available on the official Fox Sports website (www.foxsports.com.au) as well as on Apple TV via Fox Sports Now.

Fans can purchase a Fox Sports digital subscription to watch the streamed matches, or if they are a Fox Sports TV subscriber via Foxtel or digital subscriber through News Corp Masthead + the stream is available free through your existing login details.
