A series of catch-up fixtures separated the contenders from the pretenders in the hunt for the PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland top four.
Western Pride FC 3 (Todd NORRIS 15’, Harrison SAWYER 52’ 68’)

New Western Pride coach Graham Harvey delivered a win in his first match in charge after seeing off Sunshine Coast FC 3-0 at Briggs Road Complex on Saturday.
Todd Norris struck the opening goal early in the first half before Harrison Sawyer struck twice in the second half to secure the win and keep alive their hopes of a top four finish.
The result extends Fire’s mid-season slump to nine PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland matches without a win and sees the club mired in tenth place in the standings.

Northern Fury FC 1 (Jacob CROWLEY 52’)
FNQ FC Heat 5 (Joshua PIN 14’, Cameron NUCIFORA 45’, Alex SMITH 56’, Shaun OWENS 75’, Jamie CARROLL 80’)
FNQ Heat claimed derby bragging rights for another year after cruising to a 5-1 win over Northern Fury at Brolga Park on Saturday.
The visitors shared the spoils between five different goalscorers as Heat claimed the Frank Farina Cup.
The win is Heat’s second over Fury in Townsville in all competitions this year and sees the Cairns-based club move ahead of Fury into fifth place on the PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland table.

SWQ Thunder FC 0
Redlands United FC 6 (Lyndon DYKES 25’ 79’, Kai HALLIDAY 39’, Elliot RONTO 54’, Graham FYFE 58’p 85’p)
Redlands United strengthened their hold on fourth place with a 6-0 win over SWQ Thunder at Clive Berghofer Stadium on Sunday.
Lydon Dykes delivered a brace from open play while Graham Fyfe also struck twice from the penalty spot with further goals to Kai Halliday and Elliot Ronto rounding out the result for the Red Devils
The win is Redlands fifth straight as they continue the club continues its hunt for a first PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland Finals Series berth, while also consigning Thunder to a 15th straight defeat.

Brisbane Strikers FC 1 (Jheison MACUACE 67’)
Olympic FC 0
Brisbane Strikers moved at least momentarily top of the league with a 1-0 win over Olympic FC at Perry Park on Tuesday night.
The match, played ahead of schedule due to Strikers’ Westfield FFA Cup engagement away to Hume City, remained undecided until Jheison Macuace’s second-half strike moved the hosts a point clear Moreton Bay United.
Defeat leaves Olympic with work to do in third as fourth-placed Redlands United eye the six-point margin with a game in hand.
