The Round 11 Women’s Rising Star nominee is Rheanna Lotter from Southern Power.
Rhe, who turns 21 in December, came to Southern Power at the beginning of the year having grown up in Bowral in a footy mad family and whilst she has always followed the game she had never actually played before.
Rhe has a booming kick with fantastic accuracy and has spent time in both the forward and backline in her inaugural season. Her attack on the ball, intensity at the contest and ability to read the play is what you’d expect from someone who is a seasoned veteran not a rookie with less than 10 games under her belt.
Whether it’s rebounding off the half back line or bursting through the pack to kick a goal, Rhe has been a welcome addition to our team and perhaps most importantly beyond her skills and ability she is a great team mate who displays fantastic sportsmanship.
