Williamstown jumped to top spot on the ladder after a percentage boosting win over Frankston, while Footscray jumped back into the top four, bringing Collingwood’s three game winning streak to an end.
Box Hill Hawks and Geelong both kicked goals just before the final siren to hit the front against North Ballarat and Werribee respectively.

Geelong hit the lead for the first time in the match six minutes into the final term, and despite Werribee answering, Shane Kersten’s goal on the siren provided the Cats with three of the last four goals of the game for the win.
