Did you guys know that sportingpulse has a 'Predict' function where you can have the computer 'Autopick' game scores based on previous results?
Phantom is going to test it out the to see how accurate it is and either angrily tweet (@AFLOPhantom) sportingpulse afterwards or write them a proper letter full of praise for their incredibly accurate analysis. I recently bought a really nice pen so I'll use that if the scores are correct.
Here's the scores the computer generated read below for what Phantom thinks will happen:
#AFLORoosHawks ends in 225-114 shootout
God Damn! To get to 225 ponts its 33.27 so Shuttleworth is having a blinder on Bretta. The Roos themselves would score 17.12 so Jack is probably kicking 10 on Pablo. Pretty tough on the Roos to lose by 111 points when they kick 17 goals themselves.
Eagles swoop on Cats by 86 in #AFLOWildcatsRoos
The Eagles continue to ride the Falcioni-Dimacakos Express all the way to the bank in this one, with the young Wildcats unable to stop the experienced duo. Mikael Avramov adds a couple from the midfield but at least Hamilton get a game after taking part in #ForfeitWeek, #PermitWeek and #CanadaDay over the last three weekends.
#AFLODeesRebels ends with Rebels collecting 4 points
The only Saturday game at Humber South ends with a 72-17 win by the Rebels. Rodney Ireland continues his electrifying goalkicking prowess with the only 2 for the Dees while as usual the Rebels share the workload with 12 individual goalkickers. Love Brothers each kick one and assist on the other 10.
Blues continue goalless streak in 68-24 loss during #AFLOGargsBlues
That's right, the Blues are kicking 0.24.24 to continue there recent goal drought. Playing Guelph in Guelph is hard enough let alone having 24 shots on goal without registering a major. Phantom has been thinking he needs to see more out of the law firm Herbert & Dyer and they deliver with 5 each.
#AFLOSwansDingos is goalfest, no other descriptive words needed
Shootout was already used earlier so Phantom needed a new word for this one so goalfest it is. We've already seen Wade and Fridge kick 12 and 10 this season so it's a safe assumption that happens again here. Robinson, Strom, Simpson and Bridges kick 5 each in a loss.
Well footy fans, that was an exciting week of footy. You'll never complain about a lack of goals at AFLO level again.
Here's to another week of footy in Ontario!
