WINCHELSEA has staged one of the most remarkable comebacks of the 2015 GDFL season to claim its second win.
The Blues trailed Anakie by 26 points at three-quarter time before slamming on 8.2 to 3.4 in the final term to record a 16.8 (104) to 15.12 (102) victory.
Veteran big man Adam Bird was outstanding with six goals, while Kurt Berg managed three majors.
Byron Mathison was best for the Blues along with Graeme McFarlane and veteran skipper Andrew Leak.
Jamie Phillis, Paul Ridout and Mitch Gavin kicked three goals apiece for the Roos, who were best served by Jordan Kavanagh.
Bell Post Hill used a five goal to nil third quarter to shake off Thomson by 27 points at Godfrey Street.

Justin White and Jean-Paul Dumont kicked two goals each for the Cheetahs.
North Geelong made light work of Corio at Keith Barclay Oval, 43.30 (288) to 2.5 (17).
The Magpies held the Devils goalless until the final quarter.

They were among 15 goalkickers for North Geelong, which received a percentage boost of 35.
Jake Manning and Todd Smith were the lone goalkickers for Corio.
