The 2015 VVL Finals are scheduled for August 1st, 8th and 15th. Finals Fixture will be scheduled as per the attachment.
As per previous seasons, the Premier and Reserve divisions will see the top 4 teams as identified on the competition ladder compete in finals. Teams finishing in the top two are rewarded with a double chance.
Division 2 Women (which consists of 12 teams) will see the top 6 placed teams contest the finals series. The top two teams are rewarded by missing the first round of elimination finals and will play the two winners in the second round. The two winners from the Preliminary Final weekend will contest the Grand Finals.
Division 2 Men (two pools of 8) will see the top 4 teams from each pool compete in the finals series via cross-over finals.
The Grand Finals have been scheduled so that all divisions will be completed prior to the Premier Division Grand Finals. Medal Presentations for Reserves, Division 2 and Division 3 will occur on Court V1 after the completion of the last Grand Final match (outside of Premier Divisions).
The Medal Presentations for Premier Women and Premier Men will occur on court immediately after the competition of their respective Grand Final. The Premier Men’s teams will have access to another court to warm up on whilst this is happening.
The presentation for the Thomas Santamaria Shield will be presented at the completion of the last Grand Final (Premier Men).
The upstairs Function Room will be open for post-game refreshments after the completion of the last Grand Final and will serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
