Round 11 Rising Star - Alex McKenzie

The Round 11 Rising Star nominee is Alex McKenzie from UNSW/ES.

The 21 year old McKenzie, who plays through the middle and on the wing, has impressed coach Josh Parmenter ever since coming into the Premier Division side in Round 7.

McKenzie has played the last 5 games in Premier Division with his best game coming against Sydney University in Round 10 when he kicked a goal and was named in the best.

McKenzie joined the Bulldogs in 2009 playing in the Under 18 competition for four year playing a total 42 games. He made the move to senior football in 2013 in which he played predominately in Division One, including the Grand Final against Southern Power. Alex once again played Division One football in 2014 and at the start of 2015 before getting the call up to the top side.

Alex will look to continue to keep his spot in Premier Division while also helping the Bulldogs get their second win of the season.
