AFL Cairns in conjunction with the Western Bulldogs are excited to announce that on Thursday, 9th July 2015 Western Bulldogs players will visit seven of Cairns’ Junior Clubs:
North Cairns Tigers, Centrals Trinity Beach Bulldogs, Pyramid Power, Cairns City Lions, Cairns Hawks, South Cairns Cutters and Cairns Saints.
Unfortunately due to the time and distance of travel Port Douglas cannot be included in the club visits. However, we encourage Port players and their families to come down to Crathern Park (Centrals TB). Also, due to School Holidays, AFLCY Eagles will not be included. Cairns Hawks Club training will be conducted at Trinity Bay High, due to the closer proximity of Cazalys Stadium
The aim is for the Bulldogs Players’ to be involved in the Clubs junior training sessions and actively engage with the young players. Hopefully our juniors players will be inspired and excited by the visit!
AFL Cairns are incredibly appreciative of the Bulldogs interest and enthusiasm in wanting to get out amongst our clubs and future champions.
Western Bulldog players will arrive at each of your clubs by 4:30pm and depart clubs at 5:30pm. AFL Cairns intend to spread the players in groups that include an experienced player with other players including a “Rising Star” to visit the junior Clubs.
Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity when AFL Comes Alive in Cairns!
