Mid West has won the 2015 Kinlough Cup, last won by MWFL in 1999 at Ceduna. Players and officials are very pleased with the effort put in by the entire team, winning well in the minor round games and then a hotly contested Grand Final against Lincoln Districts.
Jack Wilkins won the Best and Fairest award for Mid West and also the runner up Carnival Best and Fairest in an outstanding display. Carnival leading goalkicker is Kane Grocke, strong body work and contested marking. Mid West won most positions all day, coaches Luke Nettle and Graeme Montgomerie full of praise on the teams efforts.
All matches were played in excellent conditions in front of a great crowd at Rudall.
Eastern Eyre FL, Eastern Ranges FC, Rudall and the Western Zone Junior Football Council are thanked for the organisation and running the day. Also to Brenda Tully for her ongoing tireless work.
Mid West players and officials will be recognised at the Grand Final at Streaky Bay. Full match day details, awards, laddres and also the Eyre Peninsula team appear below, or in greater detail by the results link above
