WINNING A FINAL IS THE GOAL FOR TREMELLEN
It is pretty simple what Jarmyn Tremellen wants from his 2015 season.
A win in a final...
Regardless of whether it is in the seniors or the under 18s…
The 17-year-old has not played in a winning team, with the young Magpies losing back-to-back finals series in straight sets after having two very good home and away campaigns.
The midfielder has been one of the many talented youngsters to emerge from its solid junior program and with that has been some reward with three games in the seniors during the past month.
His debut came in a red hot win against Mooroopna.
The Magpies were down and out and picked themselves up to win the four points.
“That was a really good win and probably the best game I’ve played in,” Tremellen said.
Tremellen is like most footballers, starting with club as a junior in the under 11s of the Seymour District Football Association.
After four years in that competition, Tremellen elected to make the jump to under 18s while still eligible to play under 16s.
He says the tempo of senior football is a lot quicker and the challenge is making sure you make good choices under pressure.
“In the seniors you have less time to get rid of the ball,” he said.
