A GDO will be primarily responsible for the delivery of the AFL’s Sporting Schools Program which may include both in-school and/or after-school sessions commencing in Term 3, 2015. Work in other community based initiatives may also be available including delivery of Australian Rules clinics, NAB AFL Auskick programs and promotions, AFL 9s programs, School Holiday Programs etc.
Successful applicants will have the ability to teach the basic skills of Australian Rules Football and have an understanding of junior football in the Goulburn Murray. Candidates should also have excellent communication, presentation and time management skills. Available transport will also be essential to be able to travel to various programs. A valid Working With Children check is also mandatory.
