Women's Rising Star Nominee - Round 8

The Round 8 Women’s Rising Star nominee is Jen Chan from UNSW/ES.

Chan, who plays mostly on the wing, is in her first season of senior football and has impressed with her willingness to attach the ball.

Chan is still playing her youth girls footy at Maroubra Saints and has previously played for the NSW/ACT side at the Youths Girls National Carnival.

Jen played a full game on the wing matching up experienced and representative players Alison Parkin and Alex Schroeder. She was named in best for the game for her strong tackling and attack on the ball. Jen's role was critical in the UNSW-ES win over Newtown. She is fast becoming a star among a very experienced playing group.
