Winners today to complete Round 10 of Peter Jackson VFL action were Box Hill Hawks and Port Melbourne.
Top spot was on offer in both the VFL seniors and development league today in the clash between Williamstown and Box Hill Hawks, and it was the Hawks that prevailed in both games to claim the ladder lead in both competitions at the end of Round 10.
Box Hill did a straight swap with the Seagulls on the senior ladder with a convincing 10-goal victory, while in the other match, Port Melbourne joined a backlog of sides on six wins, defeating Frankston to move to sixth spot.

Telling facts: A three goal opening term from James Sicily set the tone for the match for Box Hill Hawks as they got the early advantage against an inaccurate start by Williamstown. Sicily finished with five, along with fellow forward Sam Grimley with five as the Hawks jumped to top spot on the ladder at the completion of Round 10.

Telling facts: After trailing by five points at quarter time, Port broke the game open in the second term with seven goals to two against Frankston. It was a happy homecoming for former Dolphin Khan Haretuku kicking five goals, while Nathan Batsanis was hard to stop with another 30+ disposal game.
