She has represented NSW in a number of National Championships, as well as captaining the team in 2009 and 2011.
Jemma has been an integral part of three premiership-winning teams, Bombers Gold in 2007 and the Breakaways in 2009 and 2010. Her individual achievements include the SWAFL best and fairest in 2004 and two club best and fairest in 2007 and 2011. Jemma was also named in the SWAFL team of the decade in 2009.
Jemma’s successes are not limited to the field; she was a member of the of Sydney Women’s AFL organising committee for the 2006 Women’s AFL National Championships in Sydney, and was appointed as President in 2008 and 2009. In 2009 Jemma became an AFL umpire and has since officiated over 20 AFL Sydney matches. She was awarded the NSW AFL volunteer of the year in 2009 as recognition of her contribution to AFL in NSW.
