The AFL Sydney Round 8 Rising Star nominee is Jack Hill from St George.

Jack was playing only his 4th senior game on Saturday as an 18 year old dragon. Jack is nearing 50 club games which have included a premiership & 13 development games (Div 1) over the past 2 seasons. Jack showed against a very physical opposition on Saturday that he belongs in the top grade in Sydney AFL.

Jack was extremely composed under consistent pressure where he took 5 contested marks and had a hand in 3 goals and 18 possessions at a efficiency rate of 83%.

Jack and has been likened to the great St George legend Bobby Sterling - unassuming, silky skills and team first player before himself.
