Collingwood has produced the second best quarter of VFL football in 2015, exploding in the third term with 10 goals against Werribee to set up its fifth win of the season.
The win pushed the Magpies into the top 8 before their bye weekend, while Werribee missed an opportunity to go a game clear on top of the VFL ladder, now level with five clubs – Williamstown, Essendon, Sandringham and Box Hill Hawks on six wins in a close tussle at the top of the table.
Despite the bye Williamstown remains on top of the VFL ladder, with Essendon jumping into second spot.
