Three-sy does it for Bayswater

Three first half goals was enough to ensure leaders Bayswater City had a comfortable afternoon at the National Premier Leagues WA's bottom club Armadale.
An early Chris Saldaris strike set the tone with Gustavo Giron Maralunda and David Heagney adding to the tally, before a comfortable, but goalless second half at Alfred Skeet Reserve for Chris Coyne's side.
New Armadale coach Paul Price was pleased with some aspects of his side's performance, but cut a frustrated figure at having to wait until June 15th to strengthen.
"We've got to get some of our injured players back,” he said.
“We can't keep playing five 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old. They can't be doing it week in week out at this level.
"Hopefully we can add to the squad during the (Player Points System) window and we might have a chance in the second half of the season."
The struggling home side found themselves behind with only seven minutes gone, when a low free-kick by Maralunda ricocheted off goalkeeper Dylan Wilson, and Chris Saldaris was quick to pounce on the loose ball.
But Army responded well and they were unfortunate not to be level within ten minutes as Jackson Bealey forced City stopper Devon Spence into a fine save from distance.
And seconds later Bealey was again denied, this time by the inside of the post, following superb work by the speedy Faustino Machochi.
That was as good as it got for the hosts, as Baysie made it 2-0 on 25 minutes, when Maralunda coolly slotted into the far corner after Sam Mitchinson's pull-back.
The points were all but sealed in the last minute of the half, when City punished some sloppy Armadale play in midfield.
Todd Howarth broke forward before finding Heagney ,who found the top corner with a stunning curler from 25m.
Maralunda and Heagney should have done better with second half chances as the visitors took their foot off the gas with the points secured.
Bayswater assistant coach Stewart Moses was a little disappointed they didn't perform for the full 90 minutes and add to the scoreline, but was delighted with the first half performance.
"Credit to Armadale though, they never stopped and kept going to the end." he said.
