Shepparton United produced arguably is best performance of the season. After some poor games over the past month, coach Brendan Vanderdonk says his playing group really stepped up to the plate against Benalla.
One of the players to really shine was Tim Karolidis. He had the job of curbing Josh Mellington and did a fantastic job.
“I hoping that this win can gives us the confidence going forward,” Vanderdonk said.
The Magpies have been one of the big improvers this year and Nathan Gilliland has the team playing really well.
They did what they had to do in getting past Tatura, but he knows United will have their tails up after defeating Benalla.
