CBA Grand Finals Day - September 19 Draw
We would like to extend our congratulations to all of the teams that are playing this weekend, in the finals for their respective grades, as well as the five teams which have already won their competition (Middleton Grange and St. Thomas' in the Thompson Trophy competition, Halswell Red and Checkers White in Midweek, and CBHS Blue in our U17 Men Development Grade). We have a long day planned for Saturday, with a great slate of games lined up.
We are planning to have trophy presentations and the Finals MVP from each game recognised on Court 1 at the conclusion of each game. This means that teams set to play next on Court 1, may have to warm up off the court, or have a brief pause while we congratulate the winners before them. We have scheduled an extra 15 minutes of time for each game, so we do not foresee this being an issue, but will communicate with teams on the day so everything runs smoothly.
Lastly - we're hosting our 2015 Awards night much closer to the end of the season this year (next Thursday!) This will cover club awards only, and will have some finger food provided (as well as your first drink included in your ticket!) Clubs should contact Katie to book tickets as soon as possible.
Thank you for all your support and understanding this year,
The team at Canterbury Basketball

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
