Shepparton South keeps banging in the goals in the FFV Goulburn North East under-14 competition.
South’s rich vein of scoring form continued at McEwen Reserve on Sunday when it scored a 6-1 triumph against Kyabram Phoenix.
Moses Biemba hit a hattrick for South, which has scored 24 goals in four matches this season and conceded just six.
South is top of the ladder on 12 points, six clear of Cobram, Shepparton United and the Phoenix.
Cobram Roar moved to second on goal difference with a 3-1 victory against United in the border town.
In the girls’ under-15 and under-16 division, Shepparton United landed an away win against Cobram Roar, with Shepparton South crushing bottom side Shepparton 5-0.
Aysu Tanyolacar scored a brace for South, with Aimee Stanyer, Allison Elder and Dilara Tanyolcar also got on the scoresheet.
Shepparton United continues to set the pace in the under-17 boys’ competition after hammering Cobram Roar 7-0.
Sajad Hussani and Jawad Jamshaid each finished with doubles for the league leader, while Shepparton South fought out a 2-2 draw against Tatura.
Cihan Baser scored twice for the Ibises to cancel out the goals provided by South duo Michael Colmer and Dylan Falla.
Winners in the mixed under-12 division were Shepparton South, Shepparton United and Shepparton, which crushed Tatura 10-1.
Three Reds players — Mohammad Muqadas, Ali Albadry and Mohammed Farhood — hit the back of the net on two occasions.
