AFL Victoria is excited to be conducting a Club Coaching Coordinators course as part of its overall coach education and accreditation program which aims to upskill and develop the volunteer coaching base for community clubs and school football programs.
The Club Coaching Coordinator accreditation program will cover the following:
- Role of the Club Coaching Coordinator
- Developing a Club Coaching Philosophy
- Effective Communication, Meetings and Influence
- Establishing a Club AFL Coaching Curriculum
- Mentoring and Feedback for Coaches
- Recruit, Select and Retaining Coaches
- Technology and Coaching
- Practical Coaching Session
To attain your accreditation each Club Coaching Coordinator will be required to attend the one day course and complete the following assessment tasks related to the role:
- Develop a Club Coaching Philosophy
- Prepare a Club Coaching Manual
- Create a Coach Development program for season 2015
Date: Sunday May 31st
Time: 8.30am for registration and finish at 5.00pm
Venue: AFL Victoria – Gate Three – IKON Park (VISY Park) Royal Parade Carlton North
Cost: $75 per person includes resources and catering
