Goal difference separates the top four sides in the FFV Goulburn North-East division two competition.
Round three had a total of 17 goals scored across a trio of matches with Shepparton South owning top spot thanks to a 7-2 demolition of Shepparton at Rumbalara on Sunday.
Talisman Joel Aitken is banging goals in for fun this season and posed a constant threat to the Reds defence on his way to a hat-trick.
Aitken has 10 goals in three appearances and may well be pressing for a promotion to the topflight.
Tom Tennant is another player in vintage formand scored a brace, with Ben Lardner and Steven Young adding a goal apiece.
Shepparton enjoyed its best period in the first-half, despite going into the main break with a 4-2 deficit. Mohamad Alsharifi and Nasir Khtaf were the goalscorers for the Reds.
A double from Mohamed Saleh propelled Shepparton United to an emphatic 4-1 win against bottom side Kyabram Phoenix at Northern Oval.
United led 1-0 at halftime, but lifted another cog in the second 45 minutes with Saleh’s haul complemented by goals to Sarmed Yassin and Ahmet Savran.
Cobram Roar downed Tatura in the other match 3-1, a result that has both clubs join Shepparton South and Shepparton United on six points.
