How many years have you been involved in the league/club and in what capacity?
15 years old in 1953 playing with Murchison in the GVFL, been involved with Benalla since 1984, 5th year on board
Why do you do what you do (president, board member, coach, volunteer)?
Because I enjoy it, love the league and Benalla
What do you do when you are not volunteering/coaching?
run the cattle on my property, run the clubhouse at Benalla showgrounds
What has been your most rewarding experience in the role you currently have?
Seeing all clubs play such a great brand of football.
Do you have a funny story or enjoyable moments from your experiences in any of your roles?
Most unenjoyable moment was Benalla losing GF last year.
What advice would you give someone who is on the fence about volunteering/coaching?
Every club needs them without volunteers football clubs can’t survive so get down and help them out in any capacity.

What are you looking forward to in 2015?
Benalla winning the GF
Which player do you think crowds will enjoy watching in season 2015 and why?
Sam Martyn, terribly skilful player come back home and playing great footy

B Benalla and Mooroopna

Tim Looby, because he does his role week in week out.
