Feedback is an amazing and fruitful thing when provided in the correct context. I’m sure all clubs and leagues in all areas of Australia are constantly looking for feedback to ensure their organisation has a leg up on the "opposition".
I personally crave feedback especially being new to the region and new to the role as League Operations Manager.
I have stated numerous times over the last few months that I’m looking to take this competition to the next level, all clubs and the GOTAFE GVFL board have been very progressive in their thinking and instigated Live Scoring and videoing of all games as a starting point.
The next level of engagement will involve you the fans and supporters of this great league. I implore you to look, listen and take notes of everything that is happening within the league and would love for you to provide feedback to myself, the board members or your clubs.
One thing I do ask is don’t just say this needs to be fixed, give us a potential solution to the issues/problems also, and be specific don’t say "I don't like this" or "this is terrible" tell us what it is that you do or don’t like.
We also need to be aware of what you think is working and going well so we can continue to promote that aspect of the league.
This competition isn’t the just the leagues and clubs this competition belongs to the whole community.
So when your watching the GOTAFE GVFL Footy Show on youtube, listening to the GOTAFE GVFL Saturday morning show on One FM, listening to the Live Matchday Broadcast on One FM, trawling through the website or following the GOTAFE GVFL on social media please take some notes, provide some feedback (board or club) and let us know what your thoughts are both positive and negative because at the end of the day we want to improve every aspect of the league for the benefit of all supporters.
