The match of the round in A-grade netball is between the unbeaten Nagambie and Avenel.
Both teams are absolutely flying and have had key players included in the interleague squad.
Expect this to go right down to the wire.
Avenel are well led by Kathryn Hard and another key player is mid-court star Tegan Hansen.
Since the return of Sarah Theobald and some other premiership team-mates coupled with the arrival of Abby Misti, the Lakers have announced themselves as a real contender this year.
Caitlyn McPhee and Katie Sullivan are others really shining for Nagambie.
This is really a toss of the coin and I’m going for the Swans in a close one.
OTHER MATCHES
Undera and Ardmona go head to head in what should be a good match – as close as the football match.
Ardmona was beaten last week by Merrigum, but it was far from disgraced.
Undera chalked up its second win of the season against Rushworth and the team that can make the most of their opportunities will go a long way to taking the four points.
Merrigum will be out to replicate the things it did well in overcoming Ardmona.
Girgarre will be looking to improve on last week’s big loss and the start will be important. If can be level or in front that may put some doubt in to the minds of the Merrigum girls.
In the remaining games, Murchison will be chasing a second win of the season when up against Longwood; Stanhope should prove too strong for Rushworth and Tallygaroopna will be looking to remain unbeaten when they travel to Violet Town.
My tips: Tallygaroopna, Murchison, Stanhope, Merrigum, Undera and Avenel.
