Mansfield chalked up their first win of the season by accounting for Tatura. The return of several A-graders last week certainly made a huge difference for the Eagles.
Shepparton played six players still eligible for the thirds in the loss to Rochester.
Brad Campbell says despite the winless start to the year there has been some real positives for the Bears.
“I’ve been happy with how we have played and we haven’t been beaten by more than eight goals in any of our games.
We have played teams that all figured in the finals last year and were on the brink in United’s case,” he said.
The big bodies of the visiting Eagles are likely to cause Campbell some headaches and only a four quarter performance with no lapses will give his team a chance of victory.
