How many years have you been involved in the league/club and in what capacity?
I have been involved with the Club for 25 years largely in my present capacity but I have also undertaken many other jobs at the Swans including many years as Treasurer.
Why do you do what you do (president, board member, coach, volunteer)?
Because I enjoy the company, interaction with people all whilst doing something for the community.
What do you do when you are not volunteering/coaching?
I enjoy my peace time – gardening and sewing and of course my family.;
What has been your most rewarding experience in the role you currently have?
Sharing and caring around the young people of our Club.
Do you have a funny story or enjoyable moments from your experiences in any of your roles?
Sharing in the enjoyment of winning a Premiership.
What advice would you give someone who is on the fence about volunteering/coaching? Put your hand up and have a go, it is so rewarding. It does not matter what ability you think you have, everyone can contribute.
Who is the best player to have ever played in the GVFL?
Dan Lovick for Swans, a great player to watch.
What are you looking forward to in 2015?
All Swans’ teams to be competitive and enjoy their games.
Which player do you think crowds will enjoy watching in season 2015 and why?
Justin Maddern of the Swans as he is such an exciting player.
Who will play off in the Grand Final in season 2015?
Rochester and Swans
If you could pick any player from within the league to be in your team who would it be and why?
Not sure, I only watch Swans’ players!
