Brisbane Clubs Set For Cup Test

The remaining five Brisbane-based PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland clubs will take their first step toward Westfield FFA Cup glory this week - with two sides guaranteed to be eliminated.
Westfield FFA Cup 2015 Brisbane Zone Qualifying Round 5 will feature three matches involving PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland clubs on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
The first match is an all PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland affair as early season highflyers Brisbane Strikers host the struggling Brisbane City at Perry Park.
The teams met earlier this season in the league, with Strikers prevailing 2-1 in a see-sawing affair at Corporate Travel Management Stadium.
Strikers were one of three PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland clubs to advance to the national Round of 16 in 2014, while City were eliminated at the first hurdle by third-tier club Logan Lightning.
Wednesday night sees another all PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland match as league leaders Olympic FC travel to Cleveland Showgrounds to face the winless Redlands United.
Redlands were eliminated in 2014 by third-tier outfit Wolves FC, while Olympic FC qualified for the national Round of 16 where they were knocked-out by Hyundai A-League side Central Coast Mariners.
Moreton Bay United will also kick-off their Westfield FFA Cup campaign on Wednesday night, in a rescheduled tie against Taringa Rovers.
Jets are the only side to still be undefeated in PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland 2015, and will be hoping they can translate their league form into knock-out competition against their third-tier opponents.
No PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland side has yet advanced to the next round after Western Pride were dealt a 1-0 upset by local rivals Ipswich Knights last week.
