Wet weather football hit the Peter Jackson VFL today, with Port Melbourne, Werribee and Richmond victorious.
Werribee left its best till last, overrunning North Ballara in the second half to record win number one for the season.
It was a breakthrough win for Richmond as well, keeping Frankston goalless in the first half and avoiding a second half Dolphin comeback like last time they met when the Tigers walked away with only two points after a six goal lead in 2014.
Port Melbourne opened its account, but did not have it all their way against the Northern Blues, eventually hold the Blues to one final term goal as they kicked away by four goals.
