In the match of the round Coolaroo and University played out a low scoring match. Both teams shared the lead during different times throughout the match however it was Coolaroo who were able to get hold of the lead early in the third and never gave it up. Josh Stalhut was the difference in the match kicking 3 goals on his return for Coolaroo to set the victory up.
Down in Goondiwindi David O'toole was unstoppable kicking a game high 10 goals to lead the Hawks to a hard fought 7 point victory over the young Bombers. The game was played in a fantastic spirit as both teams were desperate for the 4 points. The game was first class but the home crowd brought their voice and got the Hawks over the line.
Warwick were to strong for the for the Toowoomba Tigers. Kristopher Millard and Brendan Iles combined to kick 12 goals between them to be to strong. THe Tigers fought hard to the end but they were never in the contest after a 6 goal first quater all but stopped the contest.
