Round 1 Women's Rising Star - Nicola Barr

Nicola Barr played her junior football for Queenwood in the Sydney Youth Girls League. A talented footballer, Nic represented NSW in the under 18s, and played for the AFL Sydney women’s representative side that recently defeated AFL Canberra.

Since joining the Sydney University Bombers at the beginning of 2015, Nic has trained with enthusiasm and dedication, and has impressed with her skills, fair play and smart footy.

Playing at half forward in round 1 against UNSW, Nic’s speed and silky skills were on display; Nic used her long kick to great effect kicking three goals and setting up several more to help the Bombers to a convincing win.
Nic is undoubtedly a player to watch in 2015.
