Round 2 Rising Star - Eli Prescott

The AFL Sydney Round 2 Rising Star nominee is Eli Prescott of St George.

The last 16 year old that debut for St George AFC in the seniors and who had such an impact was Lloyd Perris. Lloyd and Eli are very similar players and above all both are great people first.

Eli’s ability to play 100% of game time, rack up 18 disposals and more importantly have 11 individual pressure acts shows the work at the Swans Academy is producing great results for individuals and Sydney football.

On a day where all at St George AFC was hurting, Eli's humbleness and politeness shone through.

I can see Bobby Sterling saying to Eli with that gentle smile, "well done son, now don't get ahead of yourself."
