Rivalry round is back
This weekend pride meets passion when rival clubs go to head-to-head.
Thirty-eight goals were scored in last year's rivalry rounds and this year promises to be another fiesty affair when new and old rivals face off for the first time this season.
Perth Soccer Club and Bayswater City, both clubs with strong Italian heritage, will meet at Dorrien Gardens, while Balcatta will take on Inglewood United in a local clash at Inglewood Stadium.
Perth Glory and Subiaco, the most recent additions to the NPL, will continue their rivalry when they clash at Rosalie Park.
At Macedonia Park, Stirling Lions will face Floreat Athena in a match that harks back to their Macedonian and Greek roots.
Sorrento host ECU Joondalup in a battle of the north at Percy Doyle Reserve, while Armadale and Cockburn City clash in a southern derby at Alfred Skeet Reserve.
